What is an Alebrije?
An alebrije is a mix of 2 or more animals in one. They can be found just in the realm of death
and
can be brought into our world just on the day of death ( the 2nd of November).
They also have to match with a person before passing to the other world, otherwise, they would
be
lost in that world forever.
They can be divided into different categories:
- Water
- Fire
- Earth
- Air
Each one has different powers, but they all have in common their purpose ( Helping
the person that they match with and guide them in life).

Water Alebrije
Pro :
- Alebrije are the most emotional alebrijes.
- Their power is to help deal with feelings and not get too overwhelmed by them.
- They are very emphatic, and very spiritual.
- They often will come near you to offer help or to see how you are feeling.
- They like to talk about everything but especially feelings or spiriual things.
- They are also very smart and probably have the answer for everything .
- They can manipolate water.
- Will treat you as a family member.
Con :
- Not too focused on tasks or jobs.
Fire Alebrije
Pro :
- Fire Alebrije's are very hard worker.
- They will help you do all the tasks that you have to do and get whatever you want or need to achieve.
- They are very impulsive, so they will always say what they have in their mind.
- They act first and then think.
- They are very practical.
- They can manipulate fire.
- Will treat you as a teammate.
Con :
- They are not very good with emotions, so they can't help you deal with your feelings.
Earth Alebrije
Pro :
- Earth's alebrije are very creative.
- They are loyal and very emotional, even if they do not show it.
- You will never get bored with them because they are very energetic.
- They will be always by your side.
- They will always help you to try to find a compromise and resolve any problem or any discussions.
- They can manipolate earth.
- They forgive easily.
- Will treat you as a brother/sister.
Con :
- They can be very stubborn and materialistic.
Air Alebrije
Pro :
- They are the most knowledgeable alebrijes.
- They often also like to change, and never be in the same place or doing the same things.
- They are very emotional, and at the same moment very spiritual.
- They are very curious.
- They will help you discover the world and all the wonders in it.
- They can manipolate air.
- Will treat you as a travel companion and a friend.
Con :
- They need a lot of motivation and stimulus.
